How Elite Pro Home Cleaning is Adapting to COVID-19

TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: PPE compliance is a new requirement for all our cleaners. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our teams get used to wearing their equipment. We are also reminding our employees that wearing PPE is for their protection as well. We’ve created an internal document of instructions of how and when they are to wear all PPE. Each employee is required to sign and acknowledge that they will follow all PPE rules. We are reminding them and reinforcing the use of the PPE on a daily basis.
On that note, please understand that wearing PPE can be uncomfortable and takes getting used to. It is especially challenging to breathe while doing strenuous work such as cleaning. We’ve asked our employees to take frequent breaks outside if they become hot or uncomfortable while wearing their PPE and working. Our goal is to ensure the safety of our customers and employees during these unprecedented times.

PPE (Personal, protection equipment)
We will be providing PPE for each of our team members to carry with them. In each home/office cleaners will wear:- Disposable Gloves
- Protective Eye Wear (sanitized each morning)
- Disposable Shoe Covers
- Masks
- Disinfecting spray- Used to wipe down their equipment after each clean
- Hand Sanitizer
- Hand Wash Kit: Liquid Soap and Paper towels
- Facial tissues
CLEANING
Per the CDC website, both cleaning and disinfecting help with lowering the risk of spreading the infection. These guidelines are focused on household settings and are meant for the general public.- Cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. It does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
- Disinfecting refers to using chemicals, for example, EPA-registered disinfectants, to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.

MINIMIZING EXPOSURE
- To start we will be following the guidelines for social distancing at all times. We will be cleaning in teams of 2 only. We will be staggering the times that employees start work to minimize interaction with other employees in the morning. We will take each employee’s temperature and conduct a symptom review. We will send home anyone with an elevated temperature or symptoms.
